지난 일요일, 필라델피아 관음사는 이지아 학생에게 장학금을 수여하였습니다. 지아 학생은 현재 밴더빌트 대학교(Vanderbilt University)에서 바이올린 전공과 심리학을 복수 전공하며 학업과 예술에 정진하고 있습니다.이번 장학금은 익명의 후원자의 따뜻한 뜻에 의해 마련되었으며, 자비와 지혜를 바탕으로 한 젊은 인재 양성을 위한 귀한 발원이 담겨 있습니다.

Last Sunday, Kwan Um Sa proudly awarded a scholarship to Ji Ah Lee, a dedicated student at Vanderbilt Univ

ersity, where she is double-majoring in Violin Performance and Psychology. This meaningful scholarship was made possible through the generosity of an anonymous donor who wished to support the development of young leaders grounded in compassion and wisdom.

Ji Ah’s family joined the Kwan Um Sa community in heartfelt celebration, honoring her academic and artistic journey as well as the deeper spiritual values she embodies. As a young Buddhist, Ji Ah represents a new generation that carries the Buddha’s teachings of compassion, mindfulness, and inner harmony into the wider world.
